Lol, i dont know, but I just attempted the silithus demon for the first time, screwed around and tested him out, im coming back in 3 hours with shadow protection potions and killing him also.

As far as the blue sinew goes, Cyrik's price keeps going down as he can't sell it, hopefully you can grab it when it gets low enough, or maybe even work out a deal of sorts with him.
