The Macguyver race (or even class) would be fucking sweet. They could be defensive spellcasters with lots of counter magic that uses lots of reagents. Not specific items, but the spells would remove random items from a specified backpack.

I was actually hoping something like this would really happen. Reminds me of the two-player control scheme in Perfect Dark. Though impractical and unbalanced, it still sounds like a lot of fun. Even if it were just a minigame or used like some sort of ogre suit to infultrate an ogre village.
