In game expansion Blood Elf starting area pics (look real)

Can't see how you can argue that Blood Elves should be alliance. The first race of Horde actually worth looking at if it is true.

Though I wonder what level that elf is, the shirt looks way too cool to be low level.

Still, I'd like to see a screen shot with the paper doll, talent tree, racial abilities, anything other than just some nice graphics.

where could that possibly be?? Quel thalas was absolutely pwned by the scourge and all the bloodelves moved to draenor, which is a red volcanic mess. this place looks way too beautiful and exactly like what i would imagine quel thalas to be.

And i can't possibly imagine how the bloodelves would be horde, spellbreakers, dragonhawks and bloodmagi were alliance in warcraft 3. They have way more reason to be alliance than tauren do befriending a bunch of zombies.

i dont see how they are even gonna be a playable race when they are extremely rare in WoW period...they're a fallen away group of high elves that got back into the obsession with magic. The high elves were near extinct from the scourge raping their land. How are there all of a sudden gonna be a bunch of blood elves all over? It makes absolutely no sense to me...

Not only that, but their ties to Illidan are pretty strong, and frankly, given the lore that has recently been seen, I don't see him allying with either side..

Furthermore, the bulk of the Blood Elves followed Illidan into the Outlands, which is not exactly a friendly place.

More likely is that the above location exists, and may be High Elf/Blood Elf in nature, but as a quest hub, or just more local flavor to a given region. Quel'Thalas while the home to the elves, and the Sunwell, isn't necessarily the only settlement of elves

Screen looks pretty good, but the background is the same old orc/troll screen. New starting area = new character creation background. So i'm calling bogus.

Jaesty it is very possible that you can go visit quel' thalas before the scourge destroyed it since there is an exit from the caverns of time that takes you to pre-scourge Hillsbrad. (supposedly)

I didn't post that image, because it looked very photoshopped. They are using a in game high elf model with shoes that are heavily photoshopped (Starting warlocks don't wear shoes),his hands are really chubby, and have blurs along the wrists, and he is at a higher resolution then the rest of the image,and brutal is spelled wrong.

The racial ability in that screen shot, says they can gain attack power and I'm guessing mana would be what it says after that from consuming demonic corpses.Although its fake,, they did do their homework. That would play heavily into Blood Ellf lore, as in the Lands of Conflict it talks about Blood elves do like to hunt down Demons now and consume their magical energies, but more as revenge then anything.

It also plays along the class ideas I thought that blood elf would have, i.e Hunter, mage, lock, priest, warrior, and rogue. I.e every class that uses mana outside the Shaman and Pally (for lore reasons of course they couldn't be those classes)

According to lore in Shadows and Light, not all of the outlands is destroyed, many Druids from Azeroth and other beings have come and nurtured some areas back to what they looked like before the taint of the burning legion took hold. Another idea would be Illidan took water from the well of the Eternity and created another smaller well, which in turn was also carried over to create the Sunwell. Using their incredible control over magic, it wouldn't be that hard to say the Blood elves, were able to create a new homeland.

Another thing I've noticed that might lend more credit to the Bloodelves theory is that all of the blood elves in Azshara suddenly have no animations as of the 1.8 patch. I presume they must have been tweaking them for some reason, perhaps to add enough animations to make them a playable race?

Rigth now they dont even fall down when they die, just stay standing up...

After all the complaints about current racial abilities I can't imagine Blizzard creating a new race with the most specialized/useless racial ability yet. Do you even see demons before level 40 or so? Even at 60, how often do you see demons?

the way I see it is there will be bitching either way.

They get something usefull and good - (xyz race complains its to powerful)
They get something awful - (they complain it sucks)

Well, I could see some use in PvP if you could consume dead lock pets or something... still that seems like a rarity as the pets disappear (bodies too I think?) once the lock dies.
