Saw a few episodes of this last night and I want to see more.

Its extremely interesting plot wise and is definitely R rated.

Anyone else checked it out?

I've been watching it Ashla. Yeah, I like the premise of the show. The opening sequence is a bit wierd but I guess I'll get used to it over time. Vamp's are outta the coffin and are seeking equal rights as humans. I'll need a few more episodes to make my decision on it thou.

Ahh that's right she was in x-men, I was wondering about her too the whole time.

I watched the first 3 episodes and it's ok so far, well the whole storyline is a bit silly sometimes but I'll keep watching :P I can see how this show is very popular among girls ;)

i think tonights episode was the best by far. i read a few posts on other forums and most seem to dislike anna paquin as the sookie character. i have not read the books but i guess sookie is supposed to be more voluptuous and they are bashing her acting skills. w/e i didnt seem to notice anything was wrong.

Anna Paquin looks kinda like the cover art for the books, but that is often erroneous. Who cares she is hot and won and Oscar so her acting can't be that bad.

I sort of wish they would get into more why she is special and stuff, the whole murdering thing is good and it makes for a great story but I have questions that must have answers.

man i stumbled across this and loved it and today heard hbo was coming to canada (legally lol) well thats a show worth my money. Think im gonna go find the books too. Very original even if its quite off base normalicy.

I think she is part vampire.

Evidence for this theory is the flashback scene with her mother thinking about why she is dangerous, and also she is telepathic.

I suppose if you have read the books you know already....
