Though he is the undisputed ruler of the ravaged land, Illidan lives in fear that he will be discovered by his powerful enemies - most notably Arthas, the new Lich King, and the remaining Lords of the Burning Legion. Currently, Outland is home to a number of scattered draenei tribes, primitive orcs and the powerful, arcane creatures of the Nether itself. Agents of the Burning Legion have also targeted the region as a vital strategic location in their unending Burning Crusade to scour all life from the universe.
.....It's like they can't decide if they want to make him a terrible villian, a pitiable victim, or a marvelous hero.
*sigh* And it's gonna be well over a year, I'm guessing, before we get to find out which path they take. God damn, I hate the developers........
Thats a lie you love developers
so how about all those epics we farmed :\

The release date is what I don't get. All this stuff sounds really cool, but I can't really picture myself playing this game that long.

buying the expansion might be what pushes me over the edge

pushes you over the edge to what?
You'll buy the expansion. You'll love gaining the next ten levels you get in it. You'll love all the new talents you get, and you'll wish you could buy a new expansion for it every month for the REST OF YOUR LIFE!
If that's what you mean by "pushing you over the edge", it'll do JUST THAT.
or drive him to suicide cause wow is ruining his life.. either way

ten more levels makes all the stuff i have been getting for the past 4-5 months trivial... that angers me

Yeah kinda sucks some serious ass, but maybe this is why ahn'quiraj has no "third tier" set of epic armor. Either way if getting epics was the only reason to beat BWL we wouldn't do it cause as has been said many times, a lot of the stuff isn't that much better. I think conquering BWL and any hard dungeon is it's own reward and all the cool epic gear is bonus.
That's just my opinion anyway, maybe I just feel that way because I come from a game that had super hard quests with little to no reward, so anything blizz throws our way seems like a boon to me lol.

meh.... it just sucks that this super hard dungeon is about to be trivial content

It happened in everquest, its just the nature of MMO's. Things have to get hard for the game to stay alive, and the players have to become stronger to meet these challenges, and as we become stronger, things become easier.

Have to remember that this is a year (Blizzard Time) down the road bigs, so I wouldn't worry about it for a few years. It is kinda odd though to increase the level cap, since it will make all this content trivial.

Maybe it's just me, and i'm not saying that MC / BWL wouldn't be easier if we were all lvl 70, but the same game mechanics still apply. When you have 10 goblins, 3 warlocks, a drakonid and a spellbinder rushing you, you still need good strategy and teamwork lvl 70 or not.
If the expansion is really a year down the road then we will have completed this stuff anyway, and we can always say that we did it old school lvl 60 style. Not to mention, with all those new max lvl raid instances against Prince Kael and Illidan, why even bother with BWL at lvl 70? No information yet, but i'd also imagine that whatever form Hero Classes take will also make current end game somwhat easier.

You guys are bitching about raising the level cap...
(a) if they didn't, you'd have no reason to continue playing the game. you'd get all your phat gear and then youd have nothing to do
(b) epic gear will help us reach 70 faster
(c) From your perspective, lets consider this. Imagine blizz capped us at level 50. So we'd do Maraudon all day. then we'd go ST as our equiv of BWL. then one day they raised the level to 60 and you bitched because "ive spend 6 months running sunken temple and now all my elite blue gear is garbage. what a waste of time.".
No you wouldnt say that. You'd be like "fuck yeah awesome another opportunity to get even better gear."
Think of everything in relative terms. Not absolute.

I just want something entertaining to do instead of grind rep / gold. I hate grinding. [glow=red:95ecf4046c]HATE[/glow:95ecf4046c]

I am atually debating if it will be worth it to keep playing. Already real life is showing me more that it has to offer... forcing everyone to do 10 more levels and making all our gear no better than random world Lvl 70 blue drops... Meh.
I will prolly Level to 70, and if I haven't seen god in this game by then, I may just be quitting.
It's not really comparable to if there was a Lvl 50 cap and we moved from ST to Lvl 60 stuff, because from 50 to 60 there are nearly 6 zones you can go to now, there are almost 15 areas now available at 60, and the talent trees fill out perfectly. With 10 more levels, it will make a LOT of content trivial, even BWL, it will fuck us for gear, while they give us 2 places to get new gear, making the players much more homogenous, since everyone will have the same limited gear to choose from, and it REALLY fucks with talent trees.
I hope Blizz has thought this through more than they seem to have.

15 places?
I know of 3. MC/BWL/ZG.
All the other shit is.... shit.

Yes, 15. If you were Lvl 50 you couldn't do Scholo, Strat, UBRS, LBRS, BRD, The PlagueLands, The Blasted Lands, The Burning Steppes, Deadwind Pass, ZG, BWL, MC, Silithus, Un'Goro, Winterspring, Felwood, Dire Maul, etc.

Un'Goro and Felwood both start at level 50, so they can't be counted in level 60 content.
Haeze

Well, seeing as more than half of Un'goro has mobs Lvl 54+, I doubt you would get far at Lvl 50. Also, there is no quest in Un'Goro that is even yellow at 50, they are all orange and red.
Sure, it's not Lvl 60 content, but it is MUCH higher than Lvl 50 content. If there was a level cap at Lvl 50, you would not be able to do Un'Goro.

I was level 48 when I went to Un'goro, and I was fine.
