View Full Version : Raid Schedules and durations

Not trying to stir up anything, but PA is looking at potential ways to make room in our raiding schedule and I was just wondering if you could let me know how often you do instances and how long they take you.

Currently, PA has only 3 raid nights a week (hence the 'casual raid guild' moniker).

Monday: Onyxia/BWL attempt
Wednesday: MC Day 1, Luci to Shazz, usually takes just over two hours.
Saturday: MC Day 2, Sulfuron to Rags, usually takes just over three hours.

If this is inappropriate to bring up here, feel free to flame away ;-)

We were once pretty much the same, then BWL came out. If you want to make any progress into BWL, you could make your molten core runs a once a week thing like we have, gives you a lot more time to work on the new instances.

Moving MC to a one night event is what we are probably shooting for. How long does it take you guys to clear it?

Usually 4-6 hours depending how on top of the game we are.

We have started devoting a Saturday or Sunday afternoon to MC. Works out pretty well.

I'm afraid that if I even tried this kind of schedule, I wouldn't have to worry about working on wife faction anymore...

6 nights a week might seem like alot, but not everyone shows up for each raid. There isn't really a mandatory raid requirement, just those who show up more will have more dkp and be able to bid easier.

I would rather have the wife/gf versus the epics, anyday of the ol week or year. I can't have a relationship with my giant magical sword of demon slaying, since there will be a new shiny massive magically fire imbued sword of master demonslaying in the next dungon, and the first sword would just get thrown away. I don't think you would want to do that with the wife, nor would she really be up to being sharded.

Also, the game isn't real, when my gf is. The game can't hug me, even if all the /hug /kiss /dance /train emotes in the game try to say otherwise
