I wasn't a pickup person either, I wanted something with COMFORTABLE seating for 4, and was originally getting a 4_runner, but the Toyota Dealer saw a guy with his hair all disheveled in their lot and didn't think I was serious, so I never got a salesperson... while waiting, I saw one of these across the street with the dual-cab like mine, and decided to test drive one (or three). I was hooked :)

Im more a fan of the all wheel drive little cars. Pickup trucks generally feel too much like trucks. Unless its built on a car chassis and then its not a real truck now is it :) My current car is a suburu outback. Nearly impossible to lose traction in snow or otherwise. Ive tried to do donuts in the snow and it plain doesnt happen. The model I have is a bit underpowered for my taste though. Id definitely go with the WRX if i had to buy a new car right now. I guess if my job after school takes me to a warmer climate then im used to id go for a non all wheel drive car. Florida doesnt really require AWD. I wont be able to afford anything until then anyways.
