That is pretty neat, i never thought about that mainly because i didn't know about the hatchery trick. I did however think about this as a protoss or terran strategy. A protoss can put a pylon in a spot where it is 1 pixel away from a supply depot making it harder for terran to wall off and giving the ability to force zealots in.

I actually saw a unique protoss strategy the other day where a terran tried to proxy barracks. The protoss was able to hold it off with his probes (didn't even make a gateway) and also built pylons blocking his opponents mineral lines effectivly halving his income.
