I love the Malfurion screen, I'm in stealth and it looks like I'm about to kill Ixie, also wandering around the Undercity with Ruach and Kylia was tons of fun.

After a full clear of Onyxia and MC yesterday and some crazy farming today where we got 2 fragments in the space of 3 kills, our total comes to:

I was playing my lowbie Horde hunter in WSG when the global came over. Was funny how confused everybody was. Most of them decided that it must have had something to do with Juggernaut (oddly enough, I was in WSG when Juggernaut summoned him also, both globals threw me for a second). I assumed it was you guys, but then again I'm kind of surprised that more alliance guilds aren't pushing through this quest line to snatch up the legendary mount.

Next on the list was Eranikus.... Third try was the charm as we took him down with 43 people. RAR!

It was a long road but we finally have reached the end of the questlines. I had a blast doing these unique quests that pushed us to work harder than we have in a long time. Grats RAR on succeeding where others said we would fail. Now... bring on the bugs!

Also, here is the GM's helpful response to my ticket about Kylia's Satyr's corpse disappearing as he died. Kylia really should have checked his bank, or dropped raid. I think that would have done it.

I have to say, even after all this time, this was one of the coolest events in the game. The amount of dedication and skill it took for Rar to make it through this is still pretty astounding. I see the Eranikus server events all the time now, but going through the quest now just doesn't give you the sense of the way it was then. When we did the Eranikus part, we literally had to do a continuous zerg rush into Moonglade because there were dozens of 4 story tall shadow monsters running around one-shotting everyone. Then the Eranikus fight itself starts and Tyrande shows up. She and her priests are spamming 10k group heals on the whole raid, which nowadays is pretty trivial. These were truly some amazing memories.

I remember farming those portals for hours. This was the peak of RaR 1.0. Or was it 1.0...can't remember if this was pre-Bigs departure #1, #2, or# 3,000.

I farmed so much of that shit in those damn caves. It was great getting people turning to attackable and putting a curse of doom on them. I killed a lot of people doing that. Great times.

The questline was indeed epic but the bug grinding that led up to it was probably the day my soul died.

I remember I had been sitting and playing for something like 12 hours straight. When I finally got up to go to bed I got such a bad "head rush" that I blacked out for a few seconds and ended up breaking a door I fell into. Fucking bad times.

We had 2 guilds helping us on the satyr fight, for a total of 3 full raid groups, and he still wiped the floor with us a number of times. Now people solo him... /cry

This was the most amazing quest line. I really enjoyed it. Of course it led to a raid instance I hated.... Ah well, the last boss was really cool.
