Rar does it again! After a flawless Razor kill friday night, followed by apointing officially our new guild master Bigshooter saturday, it was only right for our first Vael kill to come on Sunday. On our third attempt of the night we finally took him. The fight looked like it came right out of a movie. Impressive healing, excellent dps and flawless tanking and not to mention a crazy ending to the fight. The raid started dropping at 1%, I was begening to take SS's to post the required 1% wipe news post but then the unthinkable happened. Haeze seemed to still be up!

o_o Haeze kept him up for just the right amount of time (what a sight to see) for the uber druid dps.

All eager for the rest of the instance we moved on. Considering the lagfest that many were having we were very close to Broodlord. To our suprise Broodlord is infact not an add and we may need to clear the room before pulling him.

Nope, as much as you want to believe it was the 'uber' druid dps, it was Haeze's Eviserate that killed Vael!

Silly Druids... thinking that they can do damage!

If haeze had killed him, you would have seen a line saying:

"Vaelastrasz the Corrupt was killed by Haeze"

That line is omitted if you (Bret) are the one that killed him.

I used to believe that, but I've noticed in MC that the line is omitted a LOT when I actually look for it. I think it's buggy. Somehow I don't believe I'm landing the killing blow on half the mobs I see there.

Good point. Have to check to see if Bret had Haeze's damage filtered, then that would determine who landed the kill. Either way, great fight and pretty much exactly as close as it can get.

I took the screenshot. But yeah I think I applied some damage filters on it. Haeze really had the killing blow, but saying a Druid killed him is pretty funny.

It's unfortunate I wasn't running fraps for that fight. I had a perfect shot of Haeze tanking Vael at the end. Funniest damn thing I've ever seen.

I think we will get Broodlord tonight. Watching the videos he seems pretty easy. We just need to wipe nice.

You only get the message of the person who killed the mob, if you are in that person's group, I'll post a screen of it, as I was in Haeze's group.
